Hi there! Well this basically applies to any ship from any series/fandom/what-have you... It might seem weird/illogical/ridiculous, but it's a ship. People can ship two characters together without having a "legit" reason to. 
It's all in good fun, really.
It's all in good fun, really. The reasons can range from simply looking nice together, personalities just seeming like a good fit, etc.
Well, thanks for your insight, which was rather uncalled for, but this pairing to me is just a fad.
Aaand it's alright to think that too. Thinking the ship is a fad is your opinion and we certainly don't have a right to deprive you that. Still, we enjoy what we enjoy.
